[. . . ] Turn it on by pressing RADIO ON·BAND to continue listening to it. 10 Presetting radio stations You can store radio stations into the CD player's memory. You can preset up to 30 stations, 5 for each band (FM1 - 5 and AM) in any order. 1 2 3 Press RADIO ON·BAND to turn on the radio. Press RADIO ON·BAND to select the band. Hold down MEMORY until "PRESET" flashes in the display. From this step on, start the next operation within 10 seconds after you finished the previous operation. If 10 seconds pass with nothing done, "PRESET" stops flashing which shows that the CD player has exited the PRESET MEMORY standby mode. If this happens, start from step 3 again. Press PRESET + or ­ repeatedly to select the preset number you want to store the station on while "PRESET" flashes. Press TUNE + or ­ to tune in the station you want while "PRESET" flashes. When the station is preset successfully, the beep sounds and "PRESET" stops flashing in the display. FM: AM: 4 5 6 Using the radio After 2 seconds, "PRESET" starts flashing again and the CD player enters the PRESET MEMORY standby mode. 7 Repeat steps 4 to 6 when you preset the stations in the same band. r r r r 1 Open the battery compartment lid. Battery power is getting low. (rear) Battery power is low. Lo batt* Batteries are depleted. Connecting to a power source 2 Insert two LR6 (size AA) batteries by matching the 3 to the diagram in the battery compartment. * Beep sounds. If you do so, the lens may be damaged and the CD player will not operate properly. · Do not put any heavy object on top of the CD player. The CD player and the CD may be damaged. · Do not leave the CD player in a location near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight, excessive dust or sand, moisture, rain, mechanical shock, unleveled surface, or in a car with its windows closed.
