Detailed instructions for use are in the User's Guide.

 [. . . ] To change the setting of the system to interlace format,  touch the Touch Panel Sensor FUNCTION repeatedly until "DVD" appears in the front panel display,  and while holding down . ,  touch the Touch Panel Sensor FUNCTION.  [. . . ] The output signal is changed to interlace format. For details,  see "Getting Started" - "Step 3: TV and Video Component Hookups" - "Does your TV accept progressive signals?" of the Operating Instructions. When the connected TV accept progressive signals,  connect COMPONENT VIDEO OUT of the system to the TV using a component video cord (not supplied),  and change the setting of the system to progressive format. To change the setting of the system to progressive format,  see "Setting and Adjustments" - "Setting for the Display" "COMPONENT OUT" of the Operating Instructions.

Si le téléviseur raccordé n'accepte pas les signaux progressifs et si le format progressif est activé par erreur,  l'image risque de ne pas s'afficher ou d'être déformée. Para modificar el ajuste del sistema al formato entrelazado,  toque el sensor FUNCTION del panel táctil varias veces hasta que aparezca "DVD" en el visor del panel frontal y,  mientras mantiene pulsada la tecla . ,  toque el sensor FUNCTION del panel táctil. La señal de salida cambia al formato entrelazado. Para obtener información detallada,  consulte "Procedimientos iniciales" - "Paso 3: Conexiones de TV y de componentes de vídeo" - "¿Su televisor acepta señales progresivas?" en el manual de instrucciones. Si el TV conectado acepta señales de formato progresivo,  conecte la toma COMPONENT VIDEO OUT (salida de vídeo del componente) del sistema al TV mediante un cable de vídeo del componente (no suministrado) y ajuste el sistema al formato progresivo. Para ajustar el sistema al formato progresivo,  consulte "Ajustes" - "Ajuste de la pantalla" - "SALIDA COMPONENTE" en el manual de instrucciones.
