[. . . ] Writing Manually during Recording If it is not, press the START ID AUTO button to turn it off. The start ID is written for 9 seconds (18 seconds in the long-play mode) from the point where you pressed the START ID WRITE button. While a start ID is being written, the START ID indicator flashes.
