Most DVDs have the option to view subtitled script. If a DVD offers this option, click on this key and scroll using or keys to select the language of choice (e. g. , English, German). There is no "standard" set of language options with some DVDs offering only one. Please refer to DVD packaging to determine whether it offers subtitles and in which languages. Such films typically do not offer other language subtitle options and the viewed subtitles cannot be removed from the screen. Pressing the ON/OFF key will enable or disable the subtitle display. 1 AUDIO SELECT Key The AUDIO SELECT key is used to select the language in which the disc is broadcast, if different language options of the disc are available.
