Do not use any other type of AC power adaptors for the TV. When not using the TV for a long time,  unplug the AC power adaptor and/or remove the batteries.   When using the AC power adaptor,  always connect/disconnect it by the plug. Do not pull out the plug by pulling on the lead. Clean the TV with a slightly damp soft cloth.
