Set the TAPE/AM/FM switch to TAPE to turn off the power after listening. For better reception u FM: The headphone cord functions as the FM antenna. AM: Turn the unit to find the position which gives the best reception.

Rewinding is faster than fast forwarding. To fast forward the tape faster, turn the cassette over and press the REW button. Rewinding does not stop at the end of the tape. Be sure to press the s STOP button to release the REW button.

Usable tapes Use only Type 1 (normal) tapes.
To clean the head and the tape path After every 10 hours of use, clean the head and the tape path with a head cleaning cassette or cotton swab moistened with cleaning fluid or denatured alcohol.
