Settings (*: Initial setting) Turns the backlight in the display window on or off. 10 SEC*: The backlight in the display window lights up for 10 seconds. 60 SEC: The backlight in the display window lights up for 60 seconds. OFF: The backlight in the display window does not light, even during operation. All messages in the selected folder will be erased. Press /MENU to return to the folder window before erasing the messages and select a folder from which all messages are to be erased, and then go to the menu window and select "YES. " The bookmark of the selected message will be cancelled. Press /MENU to return to the folder window before erasing the bookmark and select a folder from which the bookmark is to be erased, and then go to the menu window and select "YES. " The selected message will be moved to the selected folder. Press /MENU to return to the folder window before moving the message and select a folder from which the message is to be moved.

Menu items ALARM
Settings (*: Initial setting) Sets the alarm. NEW*: Set DATE for playback, SUN (Sunday), MON (Monday), TUE (Tuesday), WED (Wednesday), THU (Thursday), FRI (Friday), SAT (Saturday), or DAILY. LIST : A list of the message numbers, date, or the days of the week on which the alarm has already been set will be displayed. EDIT : You can change the selected date or day of the week. CANCEL: You can cancel the alarm on the selected date or on a day of the week.
Utilizing the Menu Function
DETAIL MENU LIMITER Sets the input level automatically to prevent the sound distortion that occurs when a sound that is too loud is input. OFF: The LIMITER function is cancelled.

When "REC LEVEL" is set to "MANUAL, " this setting is effective.
SELECT INPUT Selects the external input to be recorded that is connected to the (microphone) jack. MIC IN*: Select when you record messages using an external microphone. AUDIO IN: Select when you record using other equipment.

DATE & TIME Sets the clock. AUTO*: When the IC recorder is connected to a computer that is running the Digital Voice Editor, the clock will be automatically adjusted according to that computer. MANUAL: You can set the clock by setting year, month, day, hour, and minute in sequence. FORMAT Sets the formatting of the drive after "ERASE ALL DATA?" has been displayed. YES: The drive will be formatted.
