Press /MENU to return to the folder window before erasing the messages and select a folder from which all messages are to be erased, and then go to the menu window and select "EXECUTE. " The selected message will be erased. Before erasing the message, select a message to be erased, and then go to the menu window and select "EXECUTE. " The IC recorder enters FM radio mode. Scans automatically for available frequencies. EXECUTE : The automatic presetting is activated. CANCEL* : The automatic presetting is cancelled. Sets the receiver sensitivity when listening to the FM radio. DX* : When the receiving signal is strong enough to receive, select this setting. LOCAL : When the receiving signal is weak to receive, select this setting.

SCAN SENSITIVITY** Sets the scanning sensitivity when presetting FM radio stations. HIGH (SCAN H)*: The scanning sensitivity is set to high. LOW (SCAN L) : The scanning sensitivity is set to low. AUDIO OUTPUT** During FM reception or FM recording, you can switch between the sound from the speaker and the sound from the headphones. HEADPHONES* : The sound comes out from the headphones. SPEAKER : The sound comes out from the speaker (s). When set to "ON, " the IC recorder enters the recording pause mode when no sound is detected for more than 2 seconds, and the IC recorder starts recording again as a new message when any sound is detected. ON: The synchronized recording function is activated. OFF*: The synchronized recording function is cancelled.
