If the plug supplied is not suitable for the socket outlets in your home, it should be cut off and an appropriate plug fitted in accordance with the following instructions: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code: Green-and-yellow Blue Brown Earth Neutral Live As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured green-and-yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked by the letter E or by the safety earth symbol I or coloured green or green-and-yellow. [. . . ] When you carry the TV, do not hold the rear cover only, as the rear cover can easily come off. Do not connect the power cord until all other connections are complete; otherwise, a minimal current leakage through the aerial and/or other terminals to the ground could occur.
