For optimum picture quality,  a 75-ohm coaxial cable with a ferrite core,  instead of the coaxial cable mentioned on page 6 of the Operating Instructions,  is supplied with the unit. Note · The ferrite core is attached to one end of (not the center of) the cable. When connecting the cable to the TV,  insert the end with the ferrite core into the VHF/ UHF jack. · It is strongly recommended to connect the antenna using a 75-ohm coaxial cable to get optimum picture quality. A 300-ohm twin lead cable can be easily affected by radio noise and the like,  resulting in signal deterioration. If you use a 300-ohm twin lead cable,  keep it away as far as possible from the TV.
