DNS. Check that the data displayed is correct. If the data has changed, repeat step 2 on this page. The status should be "Success" if everything is set up and functioning correctly.
Success Failure Updating
Your Dynamic DNS setup is completed. The base station will continually monitor your IP address and update it when needed. The Dynamic DNS configuration or communication to the server has failed. Try repeating step 2 above and check for any typographical errors. The system is still trying to perform a Dynamic DNS update. Try waiting a few minutes; the current status will either change to a success or failure. If the current status does not change, exit out of this screen and wait 5 minutes before trying again.

Step 3 Configure LocationFree TV for Your Router
If you are using a router as part of a home network, you need to "lock in" a private IP address assigned by your router to your LocationFree base station.
1 Go to Settings > Base Station > Internet Connections > LAN. You can get to the Settings
menu from the bottom bar on most screens. Make sure the box next to Automatic IP address configuration (DHCP) is checked. Write down on a piece of paper the information in all the fields.
Check this check box
Settings > Base station > Internet Connection > LAN (DHCP/Manual IP address settings)
2 Uncheck the box next to Automatic IP address configuration (DHCP). [. . . ] If nothing appears in 10 seconds, select Search/Update A. If an access point you want to connect to does not display the + sign in the Avail. Column, select an SSID you want to connect and select Configure B.
