When removing a close-up lens or filter from the adaptor ring, hold the inner knurled part of the adaptor ring to prevent the hood from sliding from the correct position. The digital still camera to which the lens hood is attached does not have to be the one in the illustrations. (1-1) 2Align the mark on the adaptor ring with the center mark U on the digital still camera. (1-2) 3Grip the screw part (a) of the adaptor ring while rotating the inner knurled part (b) of the adaptor ring clockwise until it stops. (1-3) Note If the adaptor ring is not fixed firmly in place, the hood cannot be attached in the correct position and may cause eclipsing. Align the mark on the hood with the mark on the adaptor ring, and rotate the hood until it clicks. The SONY mark on the hood should now be directly above the lens.
