This unit is waterproof so the camera can be used in the rain, snow, at the beach, or underwater. Using this unit with the camera setting to (Underwater) or (Underwater) will enable you to record beautiful underwater images. Before using this unit, always check the number of recordable images and remaining battery life. (Underwater) for underwater still image We recommend that you use recording, or (Underwater) for underwater movie recording. Before using the camera underwater, first take this unit to a depth of about 1 m (3. 3 feet) and check that the camera is operating properly and that this unit is not leaking, then commence your dive. In the unlikely event that a malfunction of this unit causes damage due to water leakage, Sony does not guarantee against damages to the equipment contained in it (camera, battery pack, etc. Press the control buttons of this unit to change the camera settings suitable for your recording.
