You can set the Sleep Timer even when a function is selected. Press OPTIONS during any function to enter the Options menu, select [Sleep Timer], and then select the time interval. If you set both Sleep Timer and Play Timer at the same time, the Sleep Timer takes priority.

If you perform the following operations before the Sleep Timer goes off, the Sleep Timer resets. Select [Settings] from the Home menu and perform [Common Setting] [System Reset].
Using the Sleep Timer
You can set the Sleep Timer so that the unit enters standby mode automatically after a certain period of time (Sleep Timer function). This function operates even if the clock is not set.

Select [Settings] from the Home menu. Select the time interval.
You can select the interval from [Off]*1, [10 minutes], [30 minutes], [60 minutes], or [90 minutes].

After the selected time elapses, the unit enters standby mode automatically.

Using the Play Timer
You can set the Play Timer to start playing a radio program, an iPod, a USB device, or a CD at a specified time (Play Timer function). Make sure you have set the clock.
To cancel the procedure
Select [Cancel] in step 8 or press HOME.
To go back to the previous display
Press BACK. Notes
The Play Timer is erased if you disconnect the power cord of the main unit. If the unit is already turned on at the preset starting time, the Play Timer will not be activated. The Play Timer may not be activated depending on the status of the connected iPod. The ending time for the Play Timer cannot be the same as the starting time.

Prepare the sound source.
Select the sound source (radio, iPod, USB device, or CD), and then press +/ to adjust the volume.
Operations
Select [Settings] from the Home menu. Select [On].
The Play Timer setting display appears.
Set the starting time.
Press / to change the hour and press ENTER. Do the same operation to set the minute. Press and hold / to change the parameter sequentially.

Set the ending time.
Do the same operation as step 5 to set the end time.
Select the source ([Tuner], [iPod], [USB], or, [CD]) you want to play. When "Confirm "Play Timer" settings. " appears, select [OK].

Viewing the unit's information
You can view the various settings. To view the settings, do the following operation.

Setting the standby mode
You can select the power status of the unit while it is in standby mode.

With this setting, the unit is fast to respond when you turn on the unit, but the power consumption in standby mode is high.
