Touch the Quit Navigation option. Starting navigation You have calculated and displayed a route. (See "Calculating and displaying the route", page 49). Note: A so called route profile forms the basis of the route calculation. Touch the Options > Route Profile buttons if you want to view or change the route profile. If you change the route options, these remain valid for subsequent navigations. Information about changing route profiles can be found in "Route Profile", page 103. Touch the (Start Navigation) button or simply start driving. No GPS reception When the received GPS signal is not sufficient, the following message appears: "GPS reception is currently not sufficient. Navigation starts automatically as soon as GPS reception is OK again. " You have the following possibilities: Wait until navigation starts. This will happen as soon as the GPS reception is sufficient. You may restart navigation later. Option Description Simulates a navigation based on the displayed route. This simulation can be performed without GPS reception. However, simulation is restricted to routes of a maximum distance of 310 mi / 500 km. You can enter a name, under which the selected point will be stored in the ADDRESS BOOK list. For detailed information, please refer to "Saving a destination", page 38. This option is only available if you have started navigation to a given destination. Here you can view the options for route planning and, if necessary, change them. For detailed information, please refer to "Route Profile", page 103. Simulation Save Destination Route Profile - 56 - Map in Preview mode User's Manual Sony Personal Navigation System Option Description Opens the SAVE ROUTE AS. . .
