When you need to edit audio file, make sure that you connect your Network Walkman to the computer and use the SonicStage software. * The order of songs will not be changed even if the song group function is disabled. When regrouping audio file is complete, "COMPLETE" is displayed and the display returns to the indication in step 2. Note You cannot regroup songs while playing music. You cannot regroup audio file while playing music. In some cases, you may not be able to restore the former grouping. When you need to edit audio file, connect your Network Walkman to the computer and use the SonicStage software. You can use your Network Walkman to format the built-in flash memory. If memory is formatted, all data previously stored in the memory will be erased. Be sure to verify the data stored in the memory prior to formatting. Rotate the Shuttle switch to select " 1 (flash memory 1)" or " 2 (flash memory 2)" and press the Nx button to confirm. When formatting is complete, "COMPLETE" is displayed and the display returns to the indication in step 2. You cannot format memory while playing music. You cannot format memory while playing music. The MP3 File Manager software and MP3 audio files transferred with this software are erased as a result of formatting. If the MP3 File Manager software is erased, you can restore it from the supplied CD-ROM, or download it from the Sony customer service website. [. . . ] Do not disconnect the USB cable or remove your Network Walkman when the ACCESS lamp is blinking. The data being transferred may be destroyed. Do not put your computer into hibernation or standby when the MP3 File Manager software is running. With the Network Walkman, priority is given to the display of ID3 Tag information. [. . . ]
