Performing local HotSync

Click icon in the task tray at the bottom right corner of the Microsoft® Windows® Desktop and make sure that Local is checked in the shortcut menu.
Tip
If the icon is not displayed in the task tray, start the HotSync manager by clicking Start - Program - Sony handheld - HotSync manager.

Press the CLIE handheld power button. Tap icon.
Rotate the Jog Dial navigator to select HotSync and press the Jog Dial navigator.
The HotSync dialog box appears on the screen.
Make sure Local is selected (not Modem) and tap V to select Direct Serial. Tap icon of the CLIE handheld.
HotSync starts automatically. When HotSync is finished, a HotSync completion message is displayed.
