Do not use this product near water, for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool. "HANDSET IN USE" appears on the display of the base phone and the line button on the base phone double flashes in succession. (OFF) or replace the handset on the base phone. Telephone Features To store a number to be dialed via Private Branch Exchange (PBX) Before entering a phone number in step 6 above, do as follows: 1 2 Enter the outside line access digit (e. g. , 9). Press (REDIAL/PAUSE). To change a stored number Store a new number, as described previously. continued Telephone Features 35US Speed dialing (continued) Making calls with speed dialing 1 2 3 Press (LINE 1) or (LINE 2) to select the line. Enter the desired speed dialing number ((0) to (9)). [. . . ] "PRIVATE" will appear on the display. · You have answered the call while "** RINGING **" was displayed. Be sure to answer after the Caller ID data is displayed. 68US Additional Information Caller ID Symptom The caller's name and/or phone number does not appear on the display during call waiting. You cannot dial the number from the Caller ID list. Remedy · Make sure you have subscribed to "Caller ID with call waiting" service (page 60). [. . . ]
