Any difference in operation is clearly indicated in the text, for example, "SS-V831ED only". [. . . ] â· If the polarity of the speaker connections are not correct, the bass tones will be weak and the position of the various instruments obscure. â· Contact between bare speaker wires at the speaker terminals may result in a short-circuit. â· Before connecting, turn off the amplifier to avoid damaging the speaker system. Pass the speaker cord into the hole on the back of the stand and out from the hole at the center of the stand. This speaker system is magnetically shielded to allow it to be installed near a TV set.
