To prevent fire, do not cover the ventilation of the apparatus with news papers, table-cloths, curtains, etc. [. . . ] The initial setting is "AUTO" for VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, VIDEO 3, TV/SAT, TAPE, TUNER and PHONO, and "PCM" for DVD, MD/DAT and SA-CD/CD. You can use DECODE PRIORITY on the front panel. · AUTO Automatically switches the input mode between DTS, Dolby Digital, or PCM. · PCM PCM signals are given priority (to prevent the interruption when playback starts). Even when other signals are input, the sound is output. When set to "AUTO" and the sound from the digital audio jacks (for CD, etc. ) is interrupted when playback starts, set to "PCM". x DUAL MONO [XXXXXXXX] (Digital broadcast language selection) · This function is valid when surround back speakers is set to DUAL only. · When the IMPEDANCE SELECTOR is set to "8", connect the speakers with a nominal impedance of 16 ohm or higher. This feature only functions for Dolby Digital sources. · MAIN/SUB Sound of the main language will be output through the front left speaker and sound of the sub language will be output through the front right speaker simultaneously. · MAIN Sound of the main language will be output. · SUB Sound of the sub language will be output. · MAIN+SUB Mixed sound of both the main and sub languages will be output. x OSD H. POSITION[XX] (OSD horizontal position) · ON Lets you apply the last selected sound field to an input whenever it is selected. For example, if you select STADIUM for the SA-CD/CD input, then change to a different input and return to SA-CD/CD, STADIUM will automatically be applied again. · OFF Sound field link is not activated. Initial setting: 4 Lets you adjust the position of the on-screen display horizontally. You can adjust from 0 to 64. x OSD V. POSITION [XX] (OSD vertical position) Initial setting: 4 Lets you adjust the position of the on-screen display vertically. You can adjust from 0 to 32. x DIMMER [XX % DOWN] (Brightness of the display) Lets you adjust the brightness of the display. The DIMMER indicator is lights up when dimmer is activated. When you set to turn off the display completely, the MULTI CHANNEL DECODING indicator is also turned off. 42US x UP YUV HUE [XX] (Video hue level) Initial setting: 4 Lets you adjust the hue of the images when you upconvert the video or S-video signals to component video signals.
