When the receiver menu is displayed on the TV screen in the screen mode, press SHIFT and MENU to enter the display mode, then check the TV display image of the component connected to the receiver. If the HDMI CONTROL function is already set to on, you do not need to change the setting. 6 Repeat steps 4 to 5 for other components that you want to use the HDMI CONTROL function. If you experience any of the following difficulties while using the HDMI CONTROL function, use this troubleshooting guide to help you remedy the problem. Make sure the connected component is compatible with the HDMI CONTROL function.
