If you do not use the computer for a long period of time, put the computer into Hibernate mode. This power saving mode saves you the time of shutting down or resuming. When the computer is in Hibernate mode, you cannot insert a disc. Hibernate mode requires more time than Standby mode to be activated. It takes more time to return to Normal mode from Hibernate mode than from Standby mode. For the type of module and amount of memory installed on your model, refer to the online Specifications.
