Also, take precautions to avoid disconnecting the AC power supply when moving the computer with the port replicator attached. Before you connect the port replicator, you may want to install the rechargeable battery, if it is not already installed. The installed battery automatically charges while the computer and port replicator are powered by the AC adapter.
