Press the image LCD on/off button to turn the image LCD on. Use the right or left side of the 5-way controller to scroll to the Setup menu, then press OK. Use the up or down side of the 5-way controller to scroll to Language, then press OK. Use the right or left side of the 5-way controller to scroll to the language you want to use, then press OK. www. hp. com/photosmart 53 Setting the beep The camera beeps to let you know that it is has finished capturing an image, or to warn you that the batteries are empty or the memory card is full or inoperable. The beep is on by default but you can turn it off if you are in a location where silence is required (for example, a museum or a school play). Press the image LCD on/off button to turn the image LCD on. The menu appears on the image LCD with the Setup icon highlighted. Use the up or down side of the 5-way controller to scroll to Beep. A new folder will be created within the folder shown in the Save my images to section. Click Yes to confirm that the photos are being saved in the correct folder and to download the photos. If you prefer, you can use Windows Explorer or My Computer to download photos. When you connect the camera to your computer, a drive icon representing the camera appears in the Windows Explorer and My Computer windows. Double-click the drive icon to access your photos. To connect the camera to a Macintosh: 1. Plug the smaller end of the USB cable (supplied) into the camera. Plug the other end of the cable into any USB port on your computer. Slide the lens cover open to turn the camera on. When the camera is connected to a computer, it automatically switches to PC mode and the letters PC appear on the status LCD. PC indicates "computer" regardless of whether you are using a Macintosh or a Windows PC.
