[. . . ] BEGIN USING · Make sure area is clear of all bystanders. · Make sure that all guards, belt guides, and the spark plug wire are properly attached. Loosen black plastic knob on each side of the control panel. · Start engine, setting desired engine speed. Note: This machine is designed to operate at maximum engine speed. CAUTION!SHUT OFF ENGINE AND REMOVE WIRE FROM SPARK PLUG BEFORE MAKING ANY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE UNIT. SUGGESTED PRACTICES · Do not operate cart if it vibrates abnormally. Excessive vibration is a sign of damage. Stop the engine and safely check for damage. · Do not operate the cart with the dump bed in the up (dump) position. CAUTION!TO ENSURE SAFE OPERATION, THE OPERATOR MUST HOLD THE HANDLEBARS WITH BOTH HANDS. 4 P C -3 00 M A IN T E N A N C E & SE R V IC E STO RAGE · D o not store engine indoors or other poorly ventilated areas. · If unit is to be stored for longer than 30 days, prepare as directed below : · D rain fuel outside into an approved container · S tart engine and run until unit is com pletely out of fuel. R em oving fuel prevents gum deposits from form ing inside carburetor. G um deposits can cause the engine to m alfunction. S E A S O N A L M A IN T E N A N C E · R eplace the spark plug. · C lean or replace the air filter and fuel . · C heck belts, tires, hardw are, etc. N O T E : N ew spark plug, clean air filter, and clean fuel filter insure proper air-fuel m ix ture and help the engine perform better and last longer. B E F O R E E A C H U SE · C heck and fill engine oil on a level surface. If oil appears black or soiled, change im m ediately. · C heck condition of filters, spark plug, tires, etc. · C heck for loose hardw are and tighten as needed.
