Unpack your equipment and check that you have the following elements: The RJ 11 telephone cable (found beneath the centre of your package) The adaptor for the telephone jack (found beneath the centre of your package) To install your WPJ 540 E follow the following steps A, B and C. A - Installation of the base unit 1 - Disconnect your telephone from its wall jack. 2 - Plug the supplied adaptor into the telephone wall jack. 3 - Connect one of the two RJ 11 telephone cables to the Base unit and connect one of the two telephone jacks to the adaptor. 4 - Connect your telephone into the second adaptor jack. The base (BASE UNIT) You must install the base unit before installing its extension in order to succeed. Do not use a mains extension cable with several sockets or a voltage overload protection system. The base unit is intended for use with analogue telephone lines in the Spanish Public Switched Network (PSTN).
