When turning off, first turn the receiver off, then the transmitter off. To reverse the functions of servos, use the small, white servo reverse switches located on side of the pistol transmitter (or the inset servo reverse switches located at the bottom of the stick transmitter). To trim the servos on pistol transmitter, use the trim switches on side of the steering wheel (the ST. trims steering, and the TH trims throttle/brake). On a stick transmitter, the trim levers are located accordingly around the sticks. d. For more details, please check the transmitter instruction manual. 8 OPERATING RADIO STEERING FUNCTION a b c Due to its unique steering system, the following advises for the controlling should be noted, a. First, flip the steering servo reverse switch (see 7c). The steering is basically accomplished by changing the center of body gravity, not the turning of the forks. With the radio transmitter and receiver on, turn the steering wheel/stick to the right. The front tire/wheel should turn right oppositely. 5 9 ADJUSTING ELECTRIC SPEED CONTROLLER Before operating your model, you have to set to either NEUTRAL or HIGH SPEED position of the electric speed controller prior running the motor. a. Neutral Setting Hold on your R/C model carefully. (Always keep the wheels off the ground when checking the operation of the radio equipment) Connect the wire to the battery pack Turn on the transmitter, and then switch on the electric speed controller afterwards. Set up the throttle of the transmitter (trigger/stick) to the neutral position and the throttle trim knob/lever in the middle. Find the supplied tuning wand in the package or a small screwdriver.
