CAUTION
0 When in shallow water running, take care that the water strainer is submerged at all times and that water is continuously running out of the cooling water check port. If the water does not discharge from the cooling water check port, adjust the motor angle to tilt down a little. 0 Do not increase the engine speed unnecessarily. 0 Make sure that the motor does not strike the bottom, especially when running in REVERSE. If the motor strikes the bottom while reversing, the impact is transmitted to the transom, risking damage to both the motor and the boat.
