Setting up First, you have to answer a few questions to set up your device and your Cardo scala-riderTM headset. Answer the questions by tapping the screen. You will use the touchscreen for everything you do with your TomTom RIDER. Not all phones can transfer their phonebook to your RIDER. Note: Make sure that your phone is currently selected. The current phone is shown at the bottom of the screen. Do one of the following: · Tap Home to call your Home location. · Above a certain speed - you set the speed at which the map is switched off. When you are driving fast, the map can be distracting. · Never - the map is never switched off. To switch the map back on again, tap Turn on map display. Turn on map display Enable/disable POIs Tap this button to set which categories of Points of Interest (POIs) should be shown on the map. Enable/ disable POIs Select the POIs that you want to see on the map from the list: 37 When you select a POI, it will be shown on the map by the symbol you can see next to each category in the list above. To find a category of POI quickly, tap Find, then start to type the name of the POI category. As soon as the category is shown in the list, you can select it. If you turn the sound off, warnings for upcoming POIs are also turned off.
