Television broadcasters employ a similar rating system to qualify the content of television programs. The MPAA, Youth TV, and TV ratings work with the V-Chip feature to allow you to block access to programs that exceed the rating limits you set. Ratings definitions MPAA Ratings X NC17 R PG13 PG G For adults only. Under 17 requires an accompanying parent or adult guardian. Some material may not be appropriate for children under 13. Some material may not be appropriate for children. Appropriate for all ages. Note: Press RECALL to see the rating of the program you are viewing.
