Television broadcasters employ a similar rating system to qualify the content of television programs. The MPAA, Youth TV, and TV ratings work with the V-Chip feature to allow you to block access to programs that exceed the rating limits you set. Ratings definitions MPAA Ratings X NC17 R PG13 PG G For adults only. Under 17 requires an accompanying parent or adult guardian. Some material may not be appropriate for children under 13. Some material may not be appropriate for children. Appropriate for all ages. Note: Press RECALL to see the rating of the program you are viewing. To block programs or movies that are not rated, see "Blocking unrated movies and programs" on page 23. TV Ratings MA Mature audience only. This program is specifically designed to be viewed by adults and therefore may be unsuitable for children under 17.
