If the entire check (all items) are to be adjusted, the % discount/surcharge must be the last item entered. q If a check is entered with separate check #'s, then it must be tendered by separate check # if using a discount/surcharge. If not, the adjustment may apply to the entire (master) check instead of just one separate check #. POS Option #71, Multiple Separate Check Payment, can be set to disallow tendering of more than one separate check #. q Discount/Surcharge entries can be voided as can any other check line item. q Multiple Discount/Surcharge entries are allowed on one check.
