You hear "Message alert" and the current setting ([ ] Off or [ ] On), and it is displayed on the base. Then you hear the instructions for setting the Message Alert. 2) Press [volume/select/ ] or [volume/select/ ] to make your selection. 3) Press [set] to select the new setting. You hear a confirmation tone, then the announcement "Message alert" followed by the current setting you have selected is announced. After a few seconds, the system announces "To set language, press menu again. " When the first new message is received, the alert tone will begin to sound. 37 Selecting. the.
