Make all connections before turning on the power. INPUT STOP REC SPEED Duplicating a video tape Preparation: Press TV/VCR to select the TV/VCR mode. Load a cassette tape with the erase prevention tab intact. Load a previously recorded tape into the playback Connection with second video recorder Playback VCR VCR or Camcorder. 1 2 Press SPEED to select the desired tape speed SP or SLP. It is recommended to set the Speed to the SP mode on the recording VCR for best results. For duplicating a previously recorded tape from a camcorder, follow the camcorder manufacturer's instructions. DVD TV/VCR PLAY STOP REC SPEED Duplicating a DVD or CD disc Preparation: Press TV/VCR to select the TV/VCR mode. Load a cassette tape with the erase prevention tab intact. Load a DVD/CD disc. Notes: You may not record the beginning of the disc, so start to playback the disc, then start to record. You cannot record the disc with copy guard function. "DISC IS COPY PROTECTED" will show up on the TV screen for approx. 4 seconds. 1 2 3 4 5 Press SPEED to select the desired tape speed SP or SLP. Press DVD to select the DVD mode. Press PLAY to start playback. Other functions (VCR) Press REC to start recording. The unit will change to the VCR mode automatically and the playback picture or sound will be duplicated on the video cassette tape. Press STOP when you finish recording. If you wish to stop a DVD/CD disc, press DVD to change the DVD mode, then press STOP.
