In this mode, the flash fires automatically according to the photography conditions. This mode is ideal for general photography where you are not trying to achieve any particular effect. However the auto mode can not set in the Manual photography mode.

] Red-Eye Forced Flash
The camera fires pre-flash lighting once before the main flash in order to reduce the red eye problem. In Portrait mode, flash photography is fixed to red-eye auto. Red-eye is reduced mode effectively if the subject looks directly towards the camera. Effectiveness is also increase if the distance between the subject and camera is kept as short as possible.

The flash is forced to fire regardless of the brightness of subjects. Use the Forced Flash mode when the subject is backlit, or in artificial light (fluorescent light, etc). The flash also fires during macro photography.

The flash never fires regardless of the brightness of subjects. Use the Suppressed Flash mode when you are taking pictures in indoor lightning at distances too great for the flash to have any effect, such as theater performances or indoor sporting events.

Getting Ready
You can manually adjust settings such as exposure control, white balance, metering system, continuous photography mode, and take photographs at these settings. These are called "Manual settings", which are saved even if the camera is turned off.
