[. . . ] Click OK. 174 NOTE Toshiba Utilities Toshiba Power Saver Toshiba Power Saver Toshiba recommends that you use the Toshiba Power Management Utility for changing system power settings. The Toshiba Power Saver feature enables you to control your computer's power usage, regardless of the source, and use the many preset power modes, or create one yourself. To access Toshiba Power Saver through Toshiba Assist, click the Power Saver icon. The Toshiba Power Saver Properties window appears. You can either use one of the preset profiles or create and use your own customized mode. The preset profiles cannot be deleted. Toshiba Utilities Toshiba Power Saver 175 By changing the options that appear in the Toshiba Power Saver Properties window and clicking OK, you can reconfigure that function. Any options that you change become effective when you click either OK or Apply. Power Usage Profiles The preset profiles are: Full Power AC Optimized High Power Normal DVD Playback Presentation Long Life Although you can change the properties for any of these modes, this is not recommended. If you need a customized mode, create a new mode with the properties you require. The DVD Playback profile applies only when a DVD program is playing on battery power. Select the boot device by pressing the right or left arrow keys, then pressing the Enter key. " General -- Allows you to view the current BIOS hard disk drive and memory settings. Device Config--Shows the Device configuration options. Tablet and Pen Settings The Tablet and Pen Settings utility allows you to set various options for using the tablet and pen.
