[. . . ] Open the air inlet grille upward and pull it toward you. Remove the terminal cover and cord clamp. Insert the connecting cable (or as according to local regulations/codes) into the pipe hole on the wall. Pull the connecting cable through the cable slot on the rear panel so that it protrudes about 15 cm out of the front. Insert the connecting cable fully into the terminal block and secure it tightly with screws. Tightening torque: 1. 2 N·m (0. 12 kgf·m) 7. Secure the connecting cable with the cord clamp. Attach the terminal cover, rear plate bushing and air inlet grille on the indoor unit.

· Since condensation results in machine trouble, make sure to insulate both the connecting pipes separately. (Use polyethylene foam as insulating material. )

How to remove the drain hose
The drain hose is secured in place by a screw. Remove the screw securing the drain hose, then pull out the drain hose.

How to attach the drain cap
1. Insert hexagonal wrench (4 mm).
In case of bottom right or bottom left piping
· After making slits on the front panel with a knife or similar tool, cut them out with a pair of nippers or an equivalent tool.

2. Bend the connecting pipes so that they are positioned within 43 mm above the wall surface. If the connecting pipes are positioned more than 43 mm above the wall surface, the indoor unit may be unstable. [. . . ] Refer to the figure shown on the left.

TD sensor (Discharge pipe temperature sensor) · Attachment With its leads pointed upward, install the sensor onto the vertical straight pipe part of the discharge pipe.

TO sensor (Outside air temperature sensor) · Attachment Insert the outdoor air temperature sensor into the holder, and install the holder onto the heat exchanger.

CAUTION During the installation work (and on its completion), take care not to damage the coverings of the sensor leads on the edges of the metal plates or other parts. It is dangerous for these coverings to be damaged since damage may cause electric shocks and/or a fire. CAUTION After replacing the parts, check whether the positions where the sensors were installed are the proper positions as instructed. The product will not be controlled properly and trouble will result if the sensors have not been installed in their proper positions.
