Saturation 0 0 0 0 0 0 Brightness 0 0 0 0 0 0 28 CONTROLS AND FEATURES English Auto Brightness Sensor Settings When the Auto Brightness Sensor is activated, it will automatically optimise the backlighting levels to suit ambient light conditions. Black/White Level Black/White Level increases the strength of dark areas of the picture to improve the definition. a b In the Advanced Picture Settings menu, press b to select Auto Brightness Sensor Settings and press Q. Press C or c to select On and press Q. Auto Brightness Sensor Settings Auto Brightness Sensor Backlight Adjustment Pro On a b In the Advanced Picture Settings menu, press b to select Black/White Level. The effect depends on the broadcast and is most noticeable on dark colours. Static Gamma The static gamma feature allows you to adjust the levels of black in the picture. c d e Press b to select Backlight Adjustment Pro and press Q. a b In the Advanced Picture Settings menu, press b to select Static Gamma. Press C or c to adjust the level. The Backlight Adjustment Pro window will appear. Press Q again to display the adjustment window. Press C or c to select a point and press B or b to adjust the level. Backlight Adjustment Pro Backlight Control Level 100 MPEG NR ­ Noise Reduction When watching a DVD, the compression may cause some words or picture elements to become distorted or pixelated. DNR ­ Digital Noise Reduction LED Backlight Control When LED Backlight Control is activated, it will automatically optimise the backlighting levels for dark scenes. DNR allows you to `soften' the screen representation of a weak signal to reduce the noise effect. a b Select DNR from the Noise Reduction menu. Use C or c to select Low, Middle, High, Auto or Off. The differences may not always be noticeable (for the best result use lower settings as picture quality can be lost if the setting is too high). a b In the Advanced Picture Settings menu, press b to select LED Backlight Control. Press C or c to select On or Off. 29 CONTROLS AND FEATURES English Resolution+ The Resolution+ feature allows you to adjust the clarity levels for your desired picture settings. Expert Mode This feature allows you to turn the colours red, green, and blue On/Off individually in order to adjust each colour more accurately. NOTE: This feature is not available when Picture Mode is set to AutoView. a b In the Advanced Picture Settings menu, press b to select Resolution+ and press Q. In the Resolution+ field, select On.
