This feature allows control of audio compression for some digital TV programmes except MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 audio.

NOTE: If the Stable Sound and Dynamic Range Control features are both set to On, each effect may not be noticeable.

Audio Level Offset
It tends to change into loud volume when switching from a DTV 5. 1ch to a DTV 2ch, an ATV or an external input. Using the Audio Level Offset feature reduces these volume differences.
Audio description
Audio description is an additional narrative sound track for visually impaired people to understand and enjoy the story line more fully. If this function is activated by pressing AD button, when the programme has such signal, the word AD will be displayed in the Channel Banner. You can select sound from speakers or headphone as you desire.

Set the volume level usually used when watching DTV 5. 1ch programme. Tune to a channel which is DTV 2ch or ATV, or an external input. In the SOUND menu, press b to highlight Audio Level Offset and press Q. Press b to highlight an option, then use C or c to adjust the volume level.

For example, while watching the DTV 2ch programme, only the DTV 2ch is available and other two items are greyed out in the menu. Picture Position
The picture position may be adjusted to suit personal preference and can be particularly useful for external inputs.

Press Q to view the options available for the picture format that has been selected. Press B and b to select an option, then C or c to adjust the settings. The options alter depending on currently selected widescreen format and the input signal. In Cinema:

NOTE: The picture mode you select affects the current input only. You can select a different picture mode for each input.
Picture preferences
You can customise current picture mode settings as desired. For example, while selecting "Dynamic, " if you change the following items, such as Backlight, Contrast, Brightness, Colour, Tint, Sharpness and the Advanced Picture Settings items, your new setting is saved as the same name "Dynamic. "
To return to the original factory settings select Reset in the Picture Position menu and press Q.

Reset
This feature resets all picture settings to the factory settings except Picture Mode. NOTE: If any picture settings have not been changed, Reset is not available.

3D Colour Management
When 3D Colour Management is set to On it allows the `Base Colour Adjustment' feature to become available.
Colour Temperature
Colour Temperature increases the `warmth' or `coolness' of the picture by increasing the red or blue tint.
