Each time you press the / / / button, the space is highlighted in turn. Highlight where you want to enter, then press the corresponding number buttons. To select another chapter in the same title, you need to select the title number. To select tracks from a VIDEO CD/Audio CD in order, press the number buttons for the track. To program during playback If you press the MEMORY button during playback, a programming display appears. Follow steps 2 and 3. Notes · Some discs may not permit memory playback operation. · If you select repeat during memory playback, the DVD player repeats the current memory playback. · If you press the MEMORY button while the display appears on the TV screen, the display disappears. · The programmed selections will be cleared when you open the disc tray or turn off the DVD player. 3 Press / / / to move the highlighted bar to Play, then press the ENTER. The DVD player starts memory playback. 22 Zooming a Picture You can magnify areas within a picture. Zooming a picture Press ZOOM during normal, slow or still playback. ZOOM To resume normal playback Press ZOOM repeatedly until the Original picture is restored. ZOOM Off is displayed. The centre part of the image will be zoomed in. e. g. 2 Each time you press the ZOOM button, the magnification level changes as follows: 1 2 3 Off Notes · Some discs may not respond to zoom feature. · During some scenes, the buttons may not work as described. · Zooming does not work on subtitles or menus included on DVDs. · The magnification level varies depending on the picture size you select. Advanced playback Press the ZOOM button to select the magnification level. Press the / / / buttons to view a different part of the image. You may move the image from the centre position to UP, DOWN, LEFT and RIGHT direction. When you reach the edge of the image, the display will not shift anymore in that direction. Selecting the Sound Enhancement (E. A. M. *) You can easily switch a preferred audio enhancement. *E. A. M. : Enhanced Audio Mode Selecting the sound enhancement 1 Press E. A. M. E. A. M. To exit the audio enhancement selection Leave the DVD player unattended for about a few seconds after having made a selection. The sound enhancement will appear: 3D effect Press the E. A.
