Terminals marked with the "lightning bolt" are hazardous live; the external wiring connected to these terminals require installation by an instructed person or the use of ready made leads or cords. General The Traynor TVM50 is a 50-Watt, battery-powered, combo amplifier that answers the need for a portable, all-purpose sound system. The TVM50 can be used practically anywhere with one or two microphones or instruments. the amp also features RCA auxiliary input jacks. These may be used to connect an audio source such as a CD player, tape deck, MP3 player or even laptops using the appropriate audio adapters. Input 1 Jack This versatile input has been optimized to accept any line level signal, low-impedance or high-impedance microphones. The combi-connector accepts cables with either XLR or ¼-inch TRS phone plugs. Input 2 Jack A guitar, bass guitar, keyboard or microphone can be connected to the TVM50 using this ¼-inch phone jack. An instrument (guitar, bass or keyboard) or a high impedance microphone may be connected to the TVM50 using this ¼-inch phone jack using a standard ¼-inch shielded cable. Input 2 Hi-Z Lo-Z Select Switch Select Lo-Z when using low impedance microphones or Hi-Z when using high impedance microphones or musical instruments. Adjustments can then be made to achieve the desired tone. If feedback occurs while you are using a microphone, try turning down the Treble until it stops. Input (Media) RCA jacks can be used to connect a tape deck, CD player, MP3 player, drum machine, computer or any line-level audio source. Since the TVM50 is a mono amplifier, these jacks sum the signals internally, mixing the incoming L and R stereo signals into a mono signal. Output from a mixer), connect to either the L or R jack. Connect to both RCA jacks as usual, so that both channels (L and R) are amplified. Phones Jack Connect standard stereo headphones to this jack using a ¼-inch stereo plug.
