Assume you have one extension line with your PBX system, say, 201 as the extension number, we connect this line to the gateway's port 0 (FXO port), then connect a telephone phone set to port 3 (for example) of the gateway. Pick up your extension handset, for example, 316 and dial `201'. After one ring, you should hear a dial tone.
