Should an excess of lather accidentally occur, switch off the machine, select the spin programme which is preceded by a drain cycle, to remove the lather and then start the wash again. · Sort the laundry according to the type of fabric, colourfastness and how dirty it is. · Close poppers and zips, and fasten loose buttons. · Load the laundry loosely alternating large items with small ones. · Avoid washing unhemmed or torn items as they may fray. [. . . ] Do this separately from any laundry washing, and according to the softening powder manufacturer's instructions. This will help to prevent the formation of lime deposits. After each wash Leave the door ajar for a while. This helps to prevent mould and stagnant smells forming inside the appliance.
