User Manual Falk Navigator 10 - 57 - 2. 5. 13 Screen lock You have a choice between two basic settings for activating the screen lock. Requirement: Your navigation device is not currently navigating and the screen is not operated for the set period of time. Timer: Activates the screen lock according to your personal presettings. You have a choice between 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes and 10 minutes. Manual: The screen lock is always activated when you manually activate the on/off switch on the top of the device. You will find more information on the screen lock in Chapter 1. 3. 2. 2. 5. 14 Theft protection You can use this function to activate the theft protection. The requirement for this is that you have set up a personal PIN number via the Falk NaviManager PC program. You can find out how to set up theft protection in Chapter 1. 3. 1 2. 5. 15 Ask route options If you select the Ask route options option in the settings menu, you will be given the option of changing the route options currently selected before your route is actually calculated. For example, you can change only your profile and then begin calculating your route straight away. The symbol for the selected format is displayed in blue. The symbol for the other format is displayed in grey. 2. 5. 22 Clear history Use the Clear history option to erase data for all recent destinations and the last GPS position. If you really want to erase all user data, you have to answer the confirmation message with Yes and then confirm with Ok. 2. 5. 23 Default settings When you tap on "Default settings", you reset the settings of the Falk Navigator to the factory settings, and the navigation device is automatically restarted. You can then use the Start Assistant to make new settings (see Chapter 2. 5). 2. 5. 24 Language If your Falk Navigator is set up for multiple languages, you can select or change languages using the Language option. Tap Language to select the menu language and a speaker. First, select a language for the Falk Navigator menus. The language is always specified in the respective national language. If a number of speakers for a single language are pre-installed on your device, select the desired speaker. Confirm your selection with Ok. Note: The current date and time are received with the GPS signal and are therefore always kept up to date. To set the current time zone, tap the left or right arrow at the top of the screen.
