Caller ID data can also be deleted manually. Deleting a Caller ID message · While using the Delete All?or Delete Message? screen, if no key is pressed for more than 30 seconds, an error tone sounds, and the handset returns to standby mode. · If you get an incoming call or page, the deleting operation is canceled and you can answer the call or page. 1) Press the call id/menu key in standby mode. If the handset battery pack is completely discharged or the battery pack is removed, the digital security code will be lost. [. . . ] In the unlikely event that you consistently hear other voices or distracting transmissions on your phone, you may be receiving radio signals from another cordless telephone or other source of interference. If you cannot eliminate this type of interference, you need to change to a different channel. Finally, it should be noted that some cordless telephones operate at frequencies that may cause interference to nearby TVs and VCRs. To minimize or prevent such interference, the base of the cordless telephone should not be placed near or on top of a TV or VCR. [. . . ]
