Also, the Random Code TM digital security which automatically selects one of over 262, 000 digital security codes for the handset and base. If the handset battery pack is completely discharged or the battery pack is removed, the digital security code will be lost. If this happens, a new security code is set automatically the next time the battery pack is charged. In the rare situation that you suspect another cordless telephone is using the same security code, you can change the code. 1) Remove the handset from the base unit. If interference is experienced, moving the cordless telephone farther away from the TV or VCR will often reduce or eliminate the interference.
