Suggestion · Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base and a wall outlet. · Make sure the handset is properly seated in the base. · Make sure that the charging contacts on the handset are clean. · Move the handset and/or base away from metal objects or appliances and try again. · Press the channel key to help eliminate background noise. · Check both ends of the telephone line cord. · · · · · · · · · Make sure the AC adapter is plugged into the base and a wall outlet. Disconnect the AC adapter for a few minutes. (see page 7. ) Make sure that the handset is not too far from the base. Check the dialing mode used by your telephone company.
