Press the DIAL key to initiate the connection; if you wait approximately four seconds after you enter the last digit enter, the phone will automatically connect. Receiving Calls When there is an incoming call, the VISUAL RINGER LED will flash and the LCD will display the number and name (if available) of the calling party. To answer the incoming call with the handset, simply pick up the handset. To answer an incoming call with the speakerphone or headset, leave the handset in the cradle and press the HEADSET/SPEAKER key. This puts the current call on hold, and you will hear a dial tone. Dial the number you wish to transfer the call to; you can transfer a call to any number, even one outside of your network.
