If charging 4 AA or AAA batteries at a time, place 2 batteries in the front of the charger and 2 batteries in the back of the charger. To charge AAA batteries, flip down the contact brackets before inserting the batteries. When charging 9V batteries, place the battery on the front of the charger into the plugs for 9V batteries while observing polarities. The LED indicator light marked "front" represents the charge status of the batteries placed in the front of the charger, and the LED indicator light marked "back" represents the charge status of the batteries placed in the back of the charger. The light indicator inside the front battery compartment indicates the charge status of the 9V battery. When charge time has elapsed, the charger automatically stops the charge process. Children should be supervised at all times to ensure that they do not play with the charger. Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified service centre. Always disconnect the charger if it is not in use. Never use an extension cord or any attachment if not recommended by manufacturer.
