Connect electrical signals only to suitable points in the vehicle. Connect the red lead of the power supply cable to the 12 V ignition positive (e. g. to the A7 pin of the ISO-A plug on the navigation computer). to A8 pin of the ISO-A plug on the navigation computer). Connect the grey lead to the handbrake switch (switch is earthed when brake is activated). Insert power supply cable plug into the "DC 12V INPUT" socket of the TV tuner. Option: Connect the blue lead to the remote control input for additional devices (e. g. multimedia interface box).
s TV tuner to interface box (with multimedia interface boxes MI 2x00 or MC 5400)
Connect the Cinch cable (not included) to "A/V OUTPUT" Video1 and/or Video2 of tuner. Connect the Cinch cable to a corresponding AV (audio/video) input of the interface box.
s TV tuner to colour navigation computer PC 5x00 (in systems without multimedia interface box)
Unplug the connecting cable between the navigation computer and MM 5x00 monitor at the computer. Insert adapter cable CA 1220 as per marking between the computer and the monitor cable and connect the AV output of the TV 5200 to the Cinch sockets of the CA 1220. Plug the 4-pin 3. 5mm jack of the CA 1220 into the "Remote Input" socket on the TV 5200. The connection of the external IR receiver can then be omitted - the IR receiver integrated into the monitor is then used for receiving the remote-control signals of the TV tuner.

Installation instructions
Connect the 3. 5 mm IR receiver jack to the REMOTE INPUT socket of the tuner. VDO Dayton TVA 5100) can be connected via the ANTENNA INPUT 1-4 antenna sockets of the tuner. For assembly details please see installation instructions for antenna (supplied with the antenna).

s AV sources
Two additional AV sources can be connected to the TV tuner. Connect corresponding Cinch cables to the AV inputs ("A/V Input 1" and "A/V Input 2") of the tuner.
s Second monitor
A second monitor can be connected to the "A/V OUTPUT - Video2" socket of the TV tuner. The second monitor then always displays the same image as the first monitor.
Other possible connections
s Connection to the car radio for audio signal output
The audio outputs of the TV tuner's AV output can be connected to a free input on the car radio (e. g. AUX) in order to output the TV 5200 audio signal over the vehicle's loudspeakers.
s WT 5100 (infrared audio transmitter) and WH 5100 (IR headphones)
The stereo output signal from the TV tuner can be transmitted via the infrared audio transmitter WT 5100 and received wirelessly via the infrared headphones WH 5100. The audio output of the TV tuner is connected to the WT 5100 input for this purpose. The WT 5100 must be positioned at a suitable point in the vehicle.
